Fire Fighters Endorse Rep. Stinziano for Columbus City Council

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus Professional Fire Fighters, Local 67, representing more than 1,500 firefighters, has endorsed Rep. Michael Stinziano’s election to Columbus City Council.

 “I’m excited to have the support of Columbus Fire Fighters, whose brave and heroic work saves lives every day. On Council, I’ll continue to work hard to support all that our First Responders do to protect our community and our citizens,” Stinziano said, “Members of Local 67 fight structural fires, provide advanced life support paramedic service, as well as technical rescue, hazardous materials response, fire prevention education and inspections, bomb squad and arson investigation.”

Last week, the Fraternal Order of Police Capital City Lodge #9, representing more than 4,000 law enforcement officers from across Franklin County, endorsed Rep. Stinziano for Columbus City Council.

The Fire Fighters endorsement is the 11th endorsement that Rep. Stinziano, a Columbus Democrat, has received this year.

The Fire Fighters also endorsed the election of Council Members Shannon Hardin, Jaiza Page, and Zach Klein and Council candidate Elizabeth Brown in the November election.
