COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio State Medical Association Political Action Committee has endorsed state Rep. Michael Stinziano, a Columbus Democrat, in this November’s General Election.
"I'm honored to receive OSMA’s support," Stinziano said. “Assuring access to quality, affordable health care for all Ohioans is a major issue facing us today as well as reducing infant mortality in Ohio and finding effective ways to curb Ohio’s growing heroin epidemic.”
“The health of our citizens is paramount. Making sure Ohioans have access to quality, affordable healthcare is key and will result in healthier families living and working in prosperous communities.”
"I look forward to continue working with the OSMA on the critical medical issues of our time including managed-care reform, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements and medical liability concerns."
The OSMA PAC represents more than 20,000 physicians, residents and medical student members.
Stinziano, a lawyer and a former director of the Franklin County Board of Elections, is completing his second two-year term in the Ohio House.
