COLUMBUS, Ohio – The National Federation of Independent Business’ Ohio chapter has endorsed state Rep. Michael Stinziano for re-election.
In its July 22 endorsement letter, the NFIB praised Stinziano’s record of standing up for small businesses.
“ …. We believe you will be a positive voice on behalf of small businesses while in the Legislature,” said the letter from the NFIB’s VP/Executive Director Roger Geiger.
Stinziano, a Columbus Democrat who is completing his second two-year term in the Ohio House, said he was delighted to receive the NFIB’s endorsement.
“I’m proud that The Voice of independent business has recognized our work to protect and support small businesses which are the backbone of our economy,” Stinziano said. “I look forward to continuing to work with our small businesses on the issues that impact them.”
“My goal is to make our neighborhoods the best places to live, work, raise a family and grow a business in Ohio,” Stinziano said. Stinziano actively engages small business leaders via his Small Business Advisory Council.
According to its Web site, the National Federation of Independent Business is the leading small business association representing small and independent businesses. A nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that was founded in 1943, NFIB represents the consensus views of its members in Washington and all 50 state capitals.
NFIB said it has about 25,000 members in Ohio.
