COLUMBUS, Ohio – State Rep. Michael Stinziano, a Columbus Democrat, has been endorsed by the Ohio Federation of Teachers in his bid for re-election.
“I’m honored and humbled to have the endorsement of the OFT,” said Stinziano, the former director of the Franklin County Board of Elections who is completing his second, two-year term in the Ohio House.
“To promote sustained economic growth, educating tomorrow's leaders has to be a top priority," Stinziano said.
According to its Web site, the Ohio Federation of Teachers is an organization of professionals representing 20,000 members in 55 locals across the state that include public educators and support staff, higher education faculty and support staff, and public employees. OFT is the state affiliate of the American Federation of Teachers.
