COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus Post, a respected newspaper serving central Ohio’s minority communities, has endorsed state Rep. Michael Stinziano for re-election to the Ohio House of Representatives this November.
In the endorsement, the newspaper notes that Stinziano “wants to foster small business growth in the state and create well-paying jobs” and lauds his work on reducing homelessness and creating affordable housing.
It is the second endorsement by a major newspaper in Columbus, joining a previous endorsement by the Columbus Dispatch. It is the 29th endorsement overall that Stinziano, a Columbus Democrat, has received this year. He is finishing his second two-year term in the Ohio House.
“I’m honored to have the support of the Columbus Post, which serves our diverse community so well,” Stinziano said. “Our diversity is our strength, and I will continue to work with our multicultural communities to make our neighborhoods the best places to live, work, and raise a family in the state of Ohio.”
