COLUMBUS, Ohio – The organization representing the interests and concerns of certified public accountants around Ohio has endorsed state Rep. Michael Stinziano in the Nov. 6 election.
“I am delighted to be supported by the Ohio Society of CPAs,” said Stinziano, a Columbus Democrat.
“I will continue to provide the leadership that will help businesses create good-paying jobs in our neighborhoods and help foster an entrepreneurial spirit,” said Stinziano, an attorney and former director of the Franklin County Board of Elections.
“My goal is to help make our neighborhoods the best places to live, work, raise a family and start a business in Ohio,” said Stinziano, who is completing his first two-year term.
According to its Web site, The Ohio Society of CPAs, established in 1908, represents 22,000 CPAs working in business, education, government and public accounting.
In addition to the Ohio Society of CPAs, Stinziano is also backed by the Ohio Chapter of the National Federation of Independent Business, the voice of small business.
