COLUMBUS, Ohio – The National Federation of Independent Business’ Ohio chapter has endorsed state Rep. Michael Stinziano for Ohio’s 18th House District.
In its July 3 endorsement letter, the NFIB praised Stinziano’s “strong record of standing up for small business … “
“The NFIB/Ohio SAFE Trust believes … you will continue to be a positive and proactive voice on behalf of Ohio’s small businesses in the Ohio Legislature,” the NFIB’s endorsement letter said.
Stinziano, who is completing his first two-year term in the Ohio House, said he was delighted to receive the NFIB’s endorsement.
“I’m proud that The Voice of independent business has recognized our work to protect and support small businesses which are the backbone of our economy,” Stinziano said. “I look forward to continuing to work with our small businesses on the issues that impact them.”
“My goal is to make our neighborhoods the best places to live, work, raise a family and start a business in Ohio,” Stinziano said.
According to its Web site, the National Federation of Independent Business is the leading small business association representing small and independent businesses. A nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that was founded in 1943, NFIB represents the consensus views of its members in Washington and all 50 state capitals.
NFIB said it has about 24,000 members in Ohio and 162 members in Ohio’s 18th House District.
